Kendall Ware, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD

I am a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working with individuals with a variety of communication needs. I have experience working with preschool-aged students, school-aged students, adults, and communication device users. I am licensed in the state of New York, and I am licensed to practice tele-therapy in the state of Vermont. I hold the Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

I specialize in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), gestalt language processing, and gender affirming voice care. I am passionate about assisting complex communicators to express themselves in their most authentic way. I strongly believe in teaching individuals self-advocacy skills to aid in the expansion of independence. I am a strong advocate for all of my clients.

My therapy style is truly unique to each individual. I approach therapy through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, looking to discover the changes that can be made in an environment to support an individual, rather than changing the individual to meet the needs of their environment. Therapy sessions have a strong focus on connection over compliance and building a trusting relationship with my clients. Sessions follow a client-led approach that incorporate an individual’s preferred interests.
